League of Legends Classic launches globally on July 29, 2026 as part of Patch 26.15. Riot Games confirmed the date during the MSI 2026 Grand Finals alongside the Classic showmatch and full dev blog reveal. The mode releases simultaneously across all regions where League of Legends is available.

Patch 26.15 Contents
Patch 26.15 ships both live League balance changes and the League Classic mode launch. Classic is a separate game mode within the client—not a replacement for standard Summoner's Rift. Live ranked and normal games continue alongside Classic queues.
Classic launch includes 60 champions, old Summoner's Rift map, runes and masteries, Classic Pass Season 1, The Council voting infrastructure, and ARAM Mayhem Classic-ish limited-time mode. Positional preference system debuts in Classic Draft.
