Classic Client Homepage Guide

League Classic client homepage explained: Home, Classic Pass, Collection, Runes, Masteries, and Store tabs inside the modern Riot Client.

A Legacy Shell in the Modern Client

League Classic features its own homepage that recreates the look and feel of the original Adobe AIR client while living inside today's Riot Client. You do not launch a second executable—open League of Legends, enter Classic, and use the six primary tabs to queue, progress, and customize.

Access steps and account recovery notes live on How to Access. First-session onboarding pairs well with Jump into Classic.

The Six Main Tabs

Home lets you queue for Classic Draft, Co-op vs AI, and customs. Classic Pass shows free and premium tracks, remaining season time, Banked Classic Coins, and Classic Pass Coins. Collection holds Champions, Spells, Items, and Portraits browsers so you can inspect kits and equip loading-screen art.

Runes and Masteries tabs mirror the old page editors—create loadouts before champ select. Store sells Classic champions, runes, skins, portraits, and accessories for IP and premium currencies. Portrait pricing commonly lists Feeney Art doodles around 1150 and champion portraits around 950.

Progression Surfaces

Classic Levels remain the free backbone unlocking mastery points, rune slots, IP, BE, and cosmetics through level 30—Classic Levels. Summoner's Journey begins at level 10 with Salt through Legend ranks—Summoner's Journey.

The Council voting surfaces unlock through Classic Level and additional playtime weight—How Voting Works. Keep voting power in mind before August 26's first ballot on 2026 Classic Roadmap.

Gameplay Systems Behind the UI

Even with a nostalgic shell, Classic keeps modern pings, death recap, and scoreboard tools. Homeguard unlocks after twenty minutes. Slows stack at reduced effectiveness. Minions aggro primarily on basic attacks and lack modern spawn speed buffs.

Learn map timing on Summoner's Rift, jungle camps on Jungle Camps, and controls on Controls. When the UI feels overwhelming, start in Co-op vs AI until your rune and mastery pages are stable.
