Interactive Champion Search

The Classic Champion Filter tool lets you search and sort all 60 launch champions plus planned future additions from Future Additions. Filter by role (top, jungle, mid, ADC, support), release year (2009–2013), pre-rework kit status, and Council planned additions to find champions matching your needs.

Filter Options Explained

Role filter shows champions playable in selected positions—dual-role champions like Gragas appear in multiple role filters. Pre-rework filter isolates champions with restored old kits from Pre-Rework Kits: Sion, Kayle, Tristana, and Skarner at launch.

Future additions filter displays Council-planned champions not yet in Classic: Akali, Caitlyn, Fiora, Graves, Irelia, LeBlanc, Mordekaiser, and Urgot. Release year filter helps veterans find champions from their preferred League era.

Building Your Roster

Use the filter to identify IP spending gaps: filter by role you cannot play and cross-reference Overall Tier List for A-tier and S-tier options. Ensure your roster covers all five roles with at least one viable pick per role before specializing.

Compare filtered results against champions you own on live League—owned champions display without IP cost. Focus IP purchases on filtered gaps in your ownership matching high-tier champions.

Draft Preparation

Before Classic Draft, filter champions by your assigned role and sort by tier ranking. Prepare 3–4 comfortable picks per role for ban and counterpick scenarios. Note pre-rework kits that opponents may pick unexpectedly—AP Sion mid catches unprepared players frequently.

Save filter presets for quick access: "My Mid Picks," "Support Meta," "Pre-Rework Only." Preset functionality helps returning players who maintain role-specific champion pools across sessions.

Integration with Wiki Content

Filter results connect to detailed guides: AP Master Yi on AP Master Yi Build, Sion on Old Sion Stunlock, starter recommendations on Best Starters. Tier data sourced from Overall Tier List and role-specific tier pages.

When The Council adds champions via Champion Votes, the filter updates automatically with new entries and future-addition status changes. Check Upcoming Changes for roster expansion timing.
