Classic Is Live

League Classic activated globally on July 29, 2026 as part of Patch 26.15. The countdown has reached zero — Classic is now playable in your League client under Featured Game Modes. Day-two status on Day Two Status. Full launch coverage on Launch Day Live.

Classic activated simultaneously across all regions when Patch 26.15 deployment completed. If Classic does not appear in your client, ensure Patch 26.15 is fully installed and restart the Riot Client per How to Access.

Queue for Classic Now

Select Classic from the Featured Game Mode picker in your League client. Three queue types are available: Classic Draft with positional preferences, Co-op vs AI for learning, and custom games for private lobbies. Queue details on Game Modes & Queues.

Expect 5–15 minute Classic Draft queues during peak launch hours. Start with Co-op vs AI to verify rune pages, then enter Draft when comfortable. Custom games with friends bypass queue pressure.

First Session Priorities

Configure rune page templates via Set Up Rune Pages and Rune Recommender before your first Draft game. Study live meta rankings on Overall Tier List — Ahri, Jarvan IV, Leona, Caitlyn, and Lee Sin lead day-one picks.
