Twenty-Four Hours After Go-Live
League Classic completed its first full calendar day after the July 29 Patch 26.15 activation. Players across NA, EU, KR, and other regions are through the initial login spike covered on Server & Queue Guide. If you delayed launch night, day two is the cleaner window for Draft—queues remain populated without the worst congestion.
Welcome Back, Summoners landed alongside the mode on Welcome Back Cinematic. Use it to onboard friends, then point them at How to Play rather than raw patch notes.
Launch Timing Clarifications
Coverage differed on the exact synchronized unlock: early guides cited 8:00 AM PT / 11:00 AM ET, while Polygon reported a launch-day push to 2:00 PM EDT for the Classic mode switch. Regardless of the delay window, every major region outside China is now live inside the existing client with Draft, Co-op vs AI, and customs.

Meta Without Public API
Riot still has not exposed a Classic public API. Win-rate scrapers and third-party live graphs remain unavailable by design—see Meta Without API. Day-two discovery relies on showmatch VODs, squad notes, Co-op experiments, and editorial lists on Overall Tier List.
Early signals still favor Ahri, Jarvan IV, Leona, Lee Sin, and lane bullies that abuse Heart of Gold or Deathfire Grasp spikes. Refresh picks with Live Week-One Meta and Day-One Meta rather than waiting for op.gg-style dashboards.
