Triumphant Ryze Returns
August 3, 2026: Riot brings back Triumphant Ryze for qualifying grassroots League tournaments. Eligibility, Honor rules, organizer steps, and Classic crossover notes.
An Iconic Skin Is Back
On August 3, 2026 LoL Esports announced Triumphant Ryze Returns—restoring one of League's most recognizable competitive rewards for winners of qualifying community competitions. Distribution paused for years while Riot rebuilt a consistent global Organized Play process; the skin now returns alongside refreshed Community Competition Guidelines.
Triumphant Ryze stays reserved for champions of the bracket—not a shop purchase, battle-pass filler, or random drop. That prestige is the point: grassroots winners earn a trophy skin that still signals tournament accomplishment more than a decade later.
How Organizers Qualify
Submit the Community Competition Visibility Form before the event and explicitly request Triumphant Ryze prizing. Riot recommends filing three to four weeks early so reviews and follow-ups finish before your finals. Your competition needs at least eighty competitors in the same bracket, league, or tier.
After the event, complete verification with final match ID, winning player IDs, and supporting proof such as photos, brackets, streams, or social posts when Riot asks. Once verified, Riot grants Triumphant Ryze—and the Ryze champion if needed—directly to eligible Riot accounts. Full framework notes live on Community Competition Rules.
Player Eligibility and Honor
Winners must be Honor Level 3 or higher when rewards are granted. Players below that threshold wait until they meet the Honor bar. Organizers should warn finalists early so last-minute chat bans or Honor drops do not void a hard-earned skin.
Because Classic launched into the same midsummer window, community brackets can feature Summoner's Rift, ARAM, Arena, or League Classic under the updated guidelines. If you run Classic customs or Draft showmatches, the same Triumphant Ryze pipeline applies once the event qualifies.
Why It Matters in August 2026
The announcement drops the day before the LCK Legend Match and a week into live Classic queues—LCK Legend Match and Week-One Status. It extends the nostalgia wave beyond client cosmetics into real community competition.
Players hunting prestige flexes should join or host qualifying events rather than waiting for a store relist that is not coming. Pair organizer setup with the guidelines page, then point winners to Classic Skins for how Classic-mode cosmetics differ from live trophy skins like Triumphant Ryze.
